What to Expect:

Most pets take one or two sessions to get used to bodywork. The first couple of sessions, your pet might be restless, excited, or even anxious.

While most pets will lie down and may even sleep through most of the session, some may never fully relax. Some pets may require short breaks during the session. I will let your pet lead the session and will only work within their comfort zone.

After a bodywork session, your pet will likely be thirsty and may have to relieve him/herself. S/he may be a bit more lethargic than usual the rest of the day.

The following day, it's normal for your pet to be a bit stiff, as I will be working and stretching muscles that aren't normally used. This is especially more noticeable in older or more sedentary pets.

Pets that are already experiencing mobility problems may be less coordinated immediately after the massage.

While every dog or cat is different, you can expect to start seeing the benefits of the session within 24-48 hours. Depending on your pet's particular issues, it may take several sessions before you see a noticeable difference in his/her condition.
