Hi, I'm Harmony! I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician and certified canine bodyworker with over 9 years of experience. I graduated with an A.A.S in Veterinary Nursing through Colby Community College in 2020 and completed my certification in canine bodywork through Equissage In 2014. More recently in 2023, I earned my certification as a Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer after completing the rigorous program through Wizard of Paws Rehabilitation with Deb Gross Torraca. I am also proud to be a Fear Free Certified Professional, continuing my dedication to providing a positive experience for your four-legged family members.
My passion is improving the quality of life of our four-legged friends, with a special interest in canine osteoarthritis and chronic pain. Over the past few years, I have completed various continuing education courses on this topic, including Canine Arthritis Management's CAMadvocate Level 1 and the University of Tennessee's Osteoarthritis Case Manager Certificate. Not long after I first opened my business, I ventured into the local agility and flyball circuits, and soon built up a large clientele base. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, I could be found working at local agility and flyball competitions most weekends out of the year. I have been privileged to be entrusted with the care of multitudinous canine athletes, including some of the most titled dogs in the country. I am a member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork, International Association of Animal Massage Therapists, and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. In addition to running my business, I am fortunate to work alongside some amazing colleagues as the Head of Education at Canine Arthritis Management, a self-funded, veterinary-led initiative working to raise awareness of osteoarthritis and promote evidence-based management. This role gives me the unique advantage of always being at the cutting edge of advancements in the field of arthritis management, allowing me to pass on this knowledge to you, my valued clients, so that you can get #YourDogMoreYears. I really hope that you and your dog will find as much value and benefit from my services as hundreds have in the past 9 years. I look forward to meeting you soon!
